This week's contest questions were a mix of the old and the new. Many of you got the right answers but there can only be one winner.

Question one for this week was: What company did Chris Pastras and Jason Lee run before Stereo? The answer was the short lived, (about a year) Blue Skateboards which quickly became Stereo. Many of you may remember that the Blue team was comprised of Jason Lee, Chris Pastras, Kareem Campbell and Lavar McBride. Question two was to name the musical artist that was used for the "A Journey Through Sound" Stereo Promo that was released in 2007. The answer to that was the great Serge Gainsbourg, French Pop singer and songwriter. He wrote songs for French Pop artists such as France Gall, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin. Check him out if you get a chance; he is definitely a favorite of ours over here at the Sound Agency.

I was recently browsing the world wide web and stumbled upon this rare gem from Josh Stewart's website, TheoriesOfAtlantis.com. This video features some Grade A footage of Sound Agents Danny Renaud, Clint Peterson and Olly Todd, as well some clips of HiFi pros Bobby Puleo and Tony Manfre shredding the finest street spots Miami has to offer.

The The Chrome Ball Incident just posted a bunch of old and classic Matt Rodriguez Stereo ads. The switch ollie "one, two, three, four, five" sequence on the Gonz gap is one of my favorites and if you've ever seen how loose Matt rides his trucks, you'll know how truly difficult it must have been to roll away from that. Greetings Field Agents! Stereo is proud to announce Ben Gore A.K.A. Agent 954's first Stereo ad featured in the Jan. 09 issue of Skateboarder. This f/s nosegrind is one for the books. The SF ledge is note only stacked higher than a basketball hoop, but also has a crusty steep landing to boot! Congratulations Ben!
