Stereo Japan Report & Footy Fix

Monday, February 1st 2010

The homey Kenji from Japan just sent over a pleasant new clip of Hisashi, our international pro from the land of the rising sun. Filmed and edited by Jin Nakajima, peep it here now. In further Far East news, Kenji's good friend Makoto Ishiwata, has been creating a bunch of cool objects and sculptures by recycling used decks. Most importantly, he sent us this rad version of our 45 logo (Below) using his new technique. As stated on his site, "By extracting, then reconstructing, the core/nucleus from strips of board lamination, a completely new aesthetic is born." Check out his site. The company is called Core, and the shit is actually really rad.

Stereo Downtown Sunday Art Show Slideshow

Tuesday, March 9th 2010

Here's a good luck at what Clint's old warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles looked like this past Sunday if you were on site for the Stereo Art Show. A benefit for freearts.org, a non-profit that raises money for art supplies and classes for abused children, the event also came handily stocked with PBR tallboys. Thanks to the folks at Fantastic Matter for the photography. And thanks to...
