Today marks the release of Midlake’s new record, ‘The Courage of Others’. Three years after ‘The Trials of Van Occupanther’, Stereo’s ‘Ministers of Sound’ are back at it and currently touring overseas. The U.S. leg of their tour kicks off March 1st in Arizona.

Check out the teaser for the short film for the band's new release, directed by Co-Captain Jason Lee. The film will be available as a DVD with deluxe edition of The Courage of Others, along with a double LP, 45 rpm version of the record, and a 32 page book and a live CD.

Co-Captain Lee also produced and directed the music video for the song "Balloon Maker" on the band’s debut full-length album in 2004 entitled 'Bamnan and Slivercork'.
Midlake was part of the soundtrack to Stereo’s 2004, ‘Way Out East’ video. Their music was heard in the entire New York section, part of Paris and in the closing credits.
