Tony Karr is a skateboarding enigma likened only to the legendary Gonz. I know, but believe me it’s true. Often skating up to an obstacle with no idea what trick he’s going to do, Tony can still manage to do the hardest, sickest things anyone has seen all day. Another “Tonyism” is to refuse to bail a trick and create a new one in the process. Backside tailslide, to layback, to revert? Why not!? Often traveling around the LA area with no phone, no computer, and little but a backpack, Tony manages to clock insane footage as if he were Picasso on a creative bender. He is one of those skaters that could potentially film a video part in one week, just strap a camera on his forehead and enjoy the madness that ensues. Shine on you crazy diamond!!
