Amazing night! Thank you Kingswell for hosting our video submission contest for Red Bull Skate as well as a big nod to our 30 years of Stereo! Big love to everyone that has been a part our journey & those that came out to show support! Forever grateful!I can’t believe it’s been 30 years. We launched Stereo in 1992, we mapped it out when I was 19 and Jason was 21. It was unique, but I had no idea it would last three decades and beyond. Thank you to anyone who’s shown us love and support or bought one of our products. We’re still here because of YOU. Boom!- Chris Pastras
Chris Pastras discusses commentating skate events, how he got the nickname Dune, skating for Shut Skateboards, leaving Shut for World Industries, filming for Rubbish Heap & 2 World Industries Men, turning pro for World Industries, starting Blue Skateboards then Stereo Skateboards with Jason Lee, becoming Osiris Team Manager, getting into slappies and much more!

New Richer Poorer Athletics Skate Video // Fall 2015 Skateboarding is all about exploring new spots and new parts of town, so for the Fall/Winter 2015 Richer Poorer Athletics Lookbook, we decided to travel south to San Pedro and visit good friend and skateboard legend Cooper Wilt. Taylor Caruso, Christian Maalouf, Daniel Shimizu, and Stereo's Chris Pastras, follow Coop's lead as we start the day carving the bowl at Peck Park. Next we hit Pedro’s foundation spot...lots of options there! Afterward we grab some fresh seafood down at the Wharf, and slappy some killer curbs right by the water. Then end the killer day at the Korean Bell of Friendship for a scenic sundown session. Many thanks to Cooper for making...
Before Stereo, there was Blue. Chris Pastras, "Spoon & Fork" Blue Skateboards Reissue from 1992 with art by Andy Jenkins is coming soon. Shops contact Syndrome Dist (760) 560-0440 to carry. Check this & other new decks on the Catalog page. "Super hyped on this 1992 Andy Jenkins graphic reissue from our our Blue Skateboards days. Blue was the precursor to Stereo Skateboards for those of you to young to know. My friend Don Bruno turned me on to a diner book back then that inspired the idea for the graphic. Plus Don and I did a whole lot of late night diner visits in Jersey. Once Andy touched the rough idea it was an instant classic. The board is coming...
For this, our second installment of Monster Children’s Table Talk series, presented by Richer Poorer and hosted by yours truly, we feature prolific artist and good friend Geoff McFetridge. Besides being a hugely inspirational art world character, Geoff is a ripping skateboarder!! So we got in some slappies to prove it, and then had Geoff give us a one of a kind all-access tour though his studio, and through his very detailed process. Let's just say I will no longer feel comfortable buying my pre-mixed acrylic tubes at Blick. Geoff is a serious Scientist of Color! His work and process will blow you away, I know it did me. Thank you again Geoff for the access and for one of...

Christian Maalouf, Daniel Shimizu, Taylor Caruso, and myself grabbed a morning coffee in our neighborhood of Echo Park, and bombed the hill leading into Elysian Park, it’s quite a wake up! Trouble opening your eyes? Bomb a huge hill! It works. Then we headed to the stairs in the intro of the video. Little Echo Park history on those stairs, they lead up to the old estate of the silent film star W.C. Fields, an estate which later belonged to skate legend Christain Hosoi. I remember walking up them to skate Christians vert ramp w. Jason lee and Mark Gonzales in ’90-’91 when I first moved to California. In fact, the vert clips in Blind Skateboards “Video Days” were filmed...
