Coffee Hour with Jason Lee & Chris Pastras

Jason and I were invited to visit MailChimp.com in Atlanta Georgia and join them for a "Coffee Hour" lecture and Q & A for about 100 employees and a few hundred more watching via live stream from their desks. When we first got asked to do this lecture, I was utterly intimidated... What would we talk about? What if we sucked? What if what we said had no meaning? There is always some level of fear in everything I do in front of a camera or an audience. But I think the key is to reign in that fear and turn it into a focused motivation. And in all the fearful chatter in my mind I arrived at a super...

Stereophonic Sound Vol 28: Classic Jason Lee, Pastras, Hoffart and Love.

For episode 28 we visit Chris Pastras’ local curb spot for some slappies, and then we go Diggin’ in the Crates to 2003 with some CLASSIC footage of co-captains Jason Lee and Pastras skating Steve Berra’s old skatepark (pre-Berrics). This was one of the early sessions when the boys were first bringing back the Stereo brand! Extra special thanks to Nate Van Dusen for capturing the moment. "Skating again in 2003, after being away from it for 8 years, was like being born again. I had no idea how much I missed it until I was back on a board. And then Chris and I started skating together again. It was an incredibly exciting time, and it only made sense to...

2 Yoshi Tanenbaum Parts! Kingpin Mag & MMT2

PASSPORT CONTROL – YOSHI TANENBAUM Euro-traveller, Yoshi Tanenbaum gets Kingpin’s Passport Control. During no more than two weeks in Europe this summer, in between visits to Bright tradeshow, Berlin Open and CPH Pro, Stereo skateboards AM from Washington, D.C. left a permanent impression and managed to bag enough footage for this Passport Control part. Given the ridiculous amount of talent he possesses, Mr. Tanenbaum passes hands down. What's more, it’s a pretty safe guess, we'll be seeing much more of him sooner rather than later… at the latest at next year's Street League: Three amazing Damn AM wins this year now grant him a spot at the 2016 series! That said, Yoshi, we'll have you back here any time!  ... Read...
